Nikki Quandt graduated from McKendree College (now University) with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Upon completion, she worked as a foster care caseworker in Granite City, which was one of the most eye opening and rewarding jobs she has ever had.
After moving back to the area, she worked at HHS as a case manager in the Ryan White program, where she again met some amazing people and learned so much. While working at HHS, she went back to school and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Masters in Counseling. During that time she left HHS to work for a local child welfare agency, where she stayed for the next 17 years.
She worked in a variety of supervisory and management level positions that prepared her well for taking over as the Executive Director at HHS in 2017. Nikki loves her job and feels blessed to work with an amazing group of coworkers, who truly put their all into helping other make their lives more fulfilling.
When Nikki is not at work, she enjoys watching her kids play sports and participate in musicals, loves watching TV, reading and spending time with her family, three dogs and friends.
